After a six month wait - we were finally notified that our little gilt - now big Peaches , was here and we
could plan on her coming in just a few weeks.  We had a deposit on another litter for an unrelated boar who
was yet to be born so we had to get Peaches a companion.  We purchased a 1/2 Tamworth , 1/2 Large black
from another breeder and we were off!  Peaches and Ugly grew up together and are now beautiful sows.
Our first litters are due the end of 2010 - and Prez joined us in March 2010.

We are very much enjoying these very docile loving pigs, and the adventure begins.  We are keeping a
registered gilt out of Peaches and a market hog from Ugly this year - and have a trade in mind with another
breeder on the boar so we can keep the breeding coefficient we would like to see.  We will be selling all
additional piglet from the litter, so feel free to contact us for availability.

If you have any questions, please feel free to send us an email or call!

Thanks for stopping by our website!

The Bailey's
We read an article about Large Black Hogs and their heritage qualities - and
had to look into this further.  The description of these old breed pigs - their
ability to thrive on pasture (we have plenty) and the fact that there were not
many around drew us to take the leap.  After hours of searching on the
internet - we discovered that there really were not many around and we were
going to have to get on a waiting list and then if piglets became available -
ship them or take a few days to go get them.
Purebred Registered Gilts and Market Barrows available,
