Tiny Town April Fool Dam: Tiny Town BRB Parcheesi Sire: Rosasharn TF Honey Bear (son of 3*M CH Rosasharn Buckweat Honey the first ADGA National Champion Doe!!!!) April is the first doe kid we have kept out of Parcheesi - and this was a great opportunity to bring in such strong genetics from the Rosasharn herd to one of our best. April's dam Parcheesi has two of three ADGA Championship legs and is one of our best milkers. She sports large, easy to milk teats and remains constant at the milk pail in spite of hot temps, travel, or stress. She is a dry yearling this year (2010) and only showed once and left with a reserve grand to her herdmate pal Topaz. Look for her to freshen in early 2011...... lots of potential in this little gal! |
Tiny Town Topaz NEW JUNIOR CHAMPION DOE! 2010!!!! Dam: CH Piddlin Acres Gold Elegance Sire: NC Promiseland SIA Samurai *B Topaz is the first doe Ellie ever gave us.... oh but boy was she worth the wait! We kept her dry for 2010 so that she could show as a dry yearling, and popped in and won Junior Grand in her very first ring appearance. Since we don't continue to show junior does who already have a leg - her 2010 show career was short and sweet -done! She is happy to frolick around the farm and be a goat with the goal of breeding her this fall for a 2011 first freshening. Her mothers udder is probably the best in the herd, and with the height and width that Samurai has thrown so far, this is probably going to be the most exciting kidding for us in 2011. She sports a chocolate color to her buckskin pattern, and is eye catching in full clip. She is strong through the chine and is nice and wide through the escutcheon, so we cross our fingers for a nice high and wide bag to fill that space! More to come! |
